ABOUT THE ACADEMY

The Academy is Established to carry out research and development in the area of Electro-Optics and related Technologies. The broad aim is to promote the technology in electro optics area covering sensors high precision optical systems and electro optic materials. It also offers services in optical processing, and special material coatings. As a part of technology development it organizes courses and seminars to bring together various researchers working in this area. The academy is equipped with the state-of-art facilities and experienced staff for promoting the research and development in the area of electro optics.

 Fiber brag based temperature and strain sensors.
